All through high school, I always wanted to go FAR FAR AWAY after graduating. I never really considered Coastal to be one of my top schools just due to campus only being 45 minutes from my hometown of Lake City. My senior year of high school, I took a tour of Coastal and absolutely fell in love. Something about the school’s atmosphere just screamed home, and before I knew it—Coastal Carolina was my school of choice. It is a decision that truly changed my life for the better. Becoming a Chanticleer has been one of the best choices that I have ever made in life. From the lifelong connections that I have made to the wonderful faculty/staff on this campus—Teal Nation has made my undergraduate studies here phenomenal. Go Chants!

I was a recipient of a Coca-Cola scholarship program that granted 150 students in the United States a scholarship in 2017. I am in the Degree in Three program.
