CCU celebrates Wellness Week
Wellness Week will feature both in-person and online events. In-person events include physical activity and group exercise classes in the HTC Center studios. The classes have limited capacity, and preregistration is required. During "Wellness Palooza" on March 17 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Prince Lawn, various offices and campus organizations will come together to offer the campus community free T-shirts, activities, healthy snacks, and prizes.
Online Zoom events include "Mindfulness 101 for Students" on March 16 and 19, "Kahoot Trivia Night" on March 16, "Mindfulness 101 for Faculty and Staff" on March 17 and 19, and an "Anxiety and Stress Management Workshop" on March 18.
For the "Exercise is Medicine Challenge," teams will compete against one another to see which one can log the most steps during Wellness Week. To form a team, download the Stridekick app. To enter for a chance to win prizes, submit your steps via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
