Comprehensive Orientation Programs
To set you up for success from day one, we offer a series of orientations and sessions specifically designed for new faculty members. These programs are thoughtfully curated to introduce you to the vibrant Coastal Carolina University community and provide you with essential information and resources available on campus. Our orientations cover a wide range of topics.
New Faculty Orientation Fall 2024
New Faculty Orientation Friday, August 16, and Monday, August 19 (for all new full-time faculty)
The Fall New Faculty Orientation (NFO) hosted by the Office of Professional Development on behalf of the Provost's office, is open to all newly hired, faculty. NFO is designed to launch careers of new faculty by introducing you to CCU. Highlights include networking with new colleagues, Q&A with the president or provost, new faculty class picture, and other useful topics.

New Faculty Orientation Saturday, August 17 (for all new part-time faculty)
The Fall New Associate Faculty Orientation hosted by the Office of Professional Development on behalf of the Provost's office, is open to all newly hired, associate faculty. This Saturday orientation is designed to assist our associate faculty in learning about the University and the people and offices that can assist them in their work. Highlights include networking with new colleagues, putting faces and departments together, and other topics that will assist in the transition to the University.
