The Center for Teaching Excellence to Advance Learning (CeTEAL) welcomes you to Coastal Carolina University. Welcome to Coastal Carolina University. New Faculty Orientation (NFO), hosted by the Center for Teaching Excellence to Advance Learning (CeTEAL), open to all newly hired, full time faculty. NFO is designed to launch careers of new faculty by providing an introduction to CCU. Highlights include networking with new colleagues, University Convocation, General Faculty Meeting, Q&A with the president and provost, faculty panel, new faculty class picture, and resources to help make you and your students successful.

Topics for the day include digital learning and instructional technology; student success; Kimbel Library Resources; diversity, equity and inclusion at CCU; accessibility and disability services for students; constructing a syllabus; advice from part-time faculty, networking with new colleagues, and more to help make this a successful year for you and your students.
