The Advanced Placement Institute (APSI) at Coastal Carolina University will be held Friday, June 19 to Sunday, June 28, 2020, and is funded by grant from the S.C. Department of Education. The course will help high school teachers become AP certified for BC Calculus and earn three graduate credits. This year the institute will be fully online with some synchronous and some asynchronous delivery. During those days, you need to be available form 9:00 am to 4:30 pm with appropriate breaks. We will be using Moodle, Zoom and Microsoft Teams. If you are not familiar with this software, we will provide you will online training on how to access and use it.
This AP Institute is endorsed by the College Board and supported by the S.C. Department of Education. Course instruction is provided by CCU faculty and a College Board-certified consultant.

Participating teachers who complete the program will receive 3 graduate credits for MATH 601 - Advanced Placement Study in Calculus BC.
Your costs: Tuition for the course is free. You are required to pay a $150 registration fee (payment instructions on Registration Application) and the $45 application fee for graduate credit enrollment.
