International applicants to Coastal Carolina University graduate programs must have completed a four-year bachelor’s degree at a regionally-accredited U.S. institution or the equivalent at an institution recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education in their country. Non-US citizens who are legal residents of the US (e.g. green card holders) do not use the international student application.
Graduate Degree Program Readmission
If you have been enrolled in a CCU Graduate program within the last three years but did not finish, and you are eligible to readmit to that program, or if you've simply missed a major semester (fall, spring), you will need to fill out an application for readmission. On the application, please check 'yes' to the question "Have you been enrolled in this program in the last three years?". Otherwise, no supporting documents or application fee are required for readmission.
If you are interested in taking graduate courses at CCU for professional development, credits, or education certification, choose Non-Degree Seeking as the program type during the application process.
Teachers seeking recertification, participating in district cohorts, professional development or special programs, please submit your teaching certificate through WebAdvisor (in lieu of transcripts) or when you submit your application. If you do not submit it with your application, you can upload your certificate later. An automated email will provide instructions
