Thank you for your interest in graduate education opportunities at Coastal Carolina University. Your application is considered complete and ready for review when you have submitted the online application and provided all supporting documents. Once you apply, you can check the status of your application online through your WebAdvisor student portal.
Applying to a graduate program requires planning and forethought. Carefully review the admission deadlines and requirements of your target program and assemble the various types of information and documents. Do not send supporting documents to professors or to academic departments. Applicants are fully responsible for meeting application deadlines. When all the application sections are complete and the application is successfully submitted, you must pay a non-refundable $45 application fee. You will receive confirmation emails when your application and application fee are received.

International Student Application
International applicants to Coastal Carolina University graduate programs must have completed a four-year bachelor’s degree at a regionally accredited U.S. institution or the equivalent at an institution recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education in their country. Non-US citizens who are legal residents of the US (e.g. green card holders) do not use the international student application.

Graduate Degree Program Readmission
If you have been enrolled in a CCU Graduate program within the last three years but did not finish, and you are eligible to readmit to that program, or if you've simply missed a major semester (fall, spring), you will need to fill out an application for readmission. On the application, please check 'yes' to the question "Have you been enrolled in this program in the last three years?". If you have taken courses at another institution during your absence, you must submit transcripts for those courses (see Supporting Documents). Otherwise, no supporting documents or application fees are required for readmission.

Non-Degree Graduate Application
If you are interested in taking graduate courses at CCU for professional development, credits, or education certification, choose Non-Degree Seeking as the program type during the application process.
Teachers seeking recertification, participating in district cohorts, professional development or special programs, please submit your teaching certificate through WebAdvisor (in lieu of transcripts) or when you submit your application. If you do not submit it with your application, you can upload your certificate later. An automated email will provide instructions
All other non-degree-seeking students must turn in Official Transcripts from all previously attended schools.
Letters of Recommendation, essays, resumes and other required documents are NOT required for Non-Degree Seeking Students.
