Beyond the Classroom with Languages and Intercultural Studies

Our language and intercultural studies programs offer students opportunities to visit, live and study in a variety of countries and cultures.

Study Abroad Opportunities

Study abroad is strongly recommended for students majoring or minoring in programs offered in the department and whose focus is in languages and cultures.

Please visit the Office of International Programs and Services (Lib Student Jackson Center A-109) to learn about the various study abroad opportunities. Students participating in these programs are eligible to earn up to six credit hours in Spanish; these credit-hours can applied towards the Spanish minor.

CCU also has an exchange program with Tokyo Denki University, which allows students to earn credit for 130 by spending a semester in Japan. We also offer an array of new programs in Germany in conjunction with the Universities of Applied Sciences. CCU students have recently studied in Argentina, Austria, France, Germany, Guatemala, India, Italy, Ireland, and Mexico among other countries.
