"Since joining the board more than 10 years ago, I have witnessed impressive growth and academic advancement in the Wall College," said Woodard. "I, along with the rest of the board, look forward to working with Dean Barbara Ritter and her team to continue to improve the Wall College by enhancing the concentrations, strengthening the staff and focusing on ways to ensure our graduates are successful before and after graduation."

Prior to acquiring SiteTech Systems, Woodard had more than 20 years of experience in the banking and consumer finance industries. His previous occupations include being president of GE Capital's retail mortgage business; president of Conseco Finance's private label credit card; and various executive roles at GreenTree Finance and Household Finance Corporation. Woodard also worked in the home improvement, sales and finance sectors.

Woodard is active in the Grand Strand community, serving on several boards, including the board of directors for the Myrtle Beach Regional Economic Development Corporation; the finance advisory board at Coastal Carolina University; and the Myrtle Beach Campground Association. He is also a frequent guest speaker at community and corporate events for regional banks, realtor and appraiser groups, and civic organizations.

"Mr. Woodard brings great expertise and experience to the board as chairperson, as well as an established commitment to continuous improvement in the higher education industry," said Ritter. "We are fortunate to have his guidance to draw from as we collectively advance the objectives of the college."

Woodard graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering.
