SGA Student Body President's Letter to the Students
Greetings fellow Chanticleers,
I would like to personally welcome you to another great year at the illustrious Coastal Carolina University. I am thrilled and ecstatic to act as this year's Student Body President. I look forward to a very productive year, serving and representing Coastal Carolina University's Student Body. Coastal Carolina University is a diverse institution comprised of rewarding and challenging academics with the support and care from administration, faculty and staff. One of the many special facets about Coastal is that, as a community we are family. As a family, we all work together to achieve excellence in all areas of academics and life.
The Student Government Association's mission is to provide the students with representation, services and advocacy within the Coastal Carolina University community. The SGA serves as the voice of the students and acts as a conduit between the students, administration, faculty and alumni.
My goal is to act objectively as I am the voice for our student body, along with my Executive Board and Senate, in different areas. Our connections to the university, whether that be as students, administrators, faculty, staff or alumni, give us a common bond. It is my hope that my term in office will serve to preserve and strengthen that bond through initiatives and an important focus on student's academics and campus life. Your role as a students is to know your Senators and help them find ways to better our community here at Coastal Carolina University.
If there is anything that I, or my fellow Executive, Senate or Advisors of the Student Government Association, can do to improve your college experience to make your bond with this University stronger, please do not hesitate to contact me directly or stop by our offices anytime. Thank you again for this opportunity. Remember, once a Chanticleer, always a Chanticleer. Have a great year and GO CHANTS!
