Wesel has performed undergraduate research on potential cures for bacterial skin infections for four years and has co-authored and presented this research at five different conferences.
Jordan Wesel is a biochemistry major from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She served as president of Gamma Sigma Epsilon, the national chemistry honor society, and presented the organization’s work on teaching science to elementary school children at the honor society’s national conference in 2015. Wesel has performed undergraduate research on potential cures for bacterial skin infections for four years and has co-authored and presented this research at five different conferences. She plans on attending graduate school to earn a doctorate in biochemistry.
