Maria A. Peters

As well as making numerous appearances on the President’s List and Dean’s List, Peters is a member of the Pi Mu Epsilon honor society for mathematics, attended a Research Experience for Undergraduates program in mathematical biosciences at Arizona State University, and is a recipient of both the Coastal Transfer Award and the Subhash Saxena Scholarship.

Maria A. Peters is an applied mathematics major from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. As well as making numerous appearances on the President’s List and Dean’s List, Peters is a member of the Pi Mu Epsilon honor society for mathematics, attended a Research Experience for Undergraduates program in mathematical biosciences at Arizona State University, and is a recipient of both the Coastal Transfer Award and the Subhash Saxena Scholarship. Upon graduating from Coastal Carolina University, Peters plans to look for a job in the actuarial field while preparing for her ultimate goal of pursuing a doctor of philosophy in statistics
