John Brong Campus Planting Day

During his time at CCU, John Brong served as the Greenhouse Manager and worked tirelessly to nurture, grow, and plant thousands of beautiful flowers and trees on our campus. Prior to his passing in October 2021, John spoke regularly about his vision for a planting event, where all members of the CCU community could get outside, smell the flowers, play in the dirt, make new friends, and give back to a place that we cherish.
The inagural John Brong Campus Planting Day took place on April 21, 2022 at Blanton Park; the first annual event to honor John's legacy at CCU. We hope you will join us for the 3rd annual John Brong Campus Planting Day in Spring 2024 on Thursday, April 18!
