Biography

Megan Hickman Fulp is a computer science lecturer with a well-rounded educational background and commitment to community service. She received her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and minor in Applied Mathematics from Coastal Carolina University, where she graduated with honors. During her undergraduate years, Megan was actively involved in the Upsilon Pi Epsilon organization and served as a departmental tutor and teaching assistant. Additionally, she played a significant role in establishing several departmental associations, including the CCU ACM Student Chapter, CCU Women in STEM Fellowship, and CCU Honors Fellowship. Her academic achievements and contributions earned her the Outstanding Computer Science Student distinction at the Coastal Carolina University Honors Convocation in May 2019.

Megan continued her academic pursuits and earned a Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Clemson University in 2021. She joined the CCU faculty as a lecturer of Computer Science in 2022. Beyond her teaching responsibilities, Megan dedicates substantial time to volunteering at Ekklesia, a local community center and church, providing technical support and app/website design and maintenance.
