Community Coordinator

Community Coordinators (CC) work directly with the University Housing Resident Success Team to foster a student environment that fulfills the goals and mission of the University Housing office. They select, train, and supervise a staff of graduate and undergraduate Resident Advisers (RAs). Responsibilities include but are not limited to: developing a sense of community amongst residents; facilities and building management; administrative and managerial responsibilities; advising community government; facilitating the room change process; serving as a student conduct officer; and mentoring and nurturing students in their academic and personal development through programming, advising, and counseling. 

This is a master's degree-level, full-time, live-in professional staff position. Community Coordinators are responsible for housing areas ranging from 300-600 students within a living and learning community environment. Each Community Coordinator will coordinate and administer all aspects of a student success program in their assigned area of on campus housing.
