CCU now has two summer camp options open to the public
Both programs are open to the public to register for, but they do have some differences.
The ECDC camps are open to children ages 3-10 with full-day and half-day options available ($150 weekly or $75 weekly, respectively). The half-day options are 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or 12:30-5 p.m. Breakfasts and snacks are provided.
These camps take place June 3 through Aug. 9 (including the week of July 4) at the ECDC location on CCU's main Conway campus. Camp themes range weekly from "Camp Olympics," "Kitchen Chemistry," "Amazing Race CCU Edition" and more.
To register for the ECDC camps, email mlcosta@coastal.edu. A $25 application fee is required.
The kids camps sponsored by the Office for Academic Outreach are for children ages 6-10 and run in half-day increments for $85 each week: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or 1-5 p.m. The full-day option is available. Camps begin June 17 and run through Aug. 9, but no camps are offered the week of July 4.
Camps take place at two locations: the Burroughs & Chapin Center at 290 Allied Drive in Conway, or the Litchfield Education Center at 14427 Ocean Highway in Pawleys Island.
Themes for each week's camp vary from "Superhero Academy," "Just Dance," "S.T.E.M. Dancing Robots" and much more. You can register online for camps at coastal.edu/cckc or call 843-349-5002 or 843-349-6584 for more information.
Spots are limited in both camps.
ECDC is also enrolling students for the 2019-2020 academic year. Email mlcosta@coastal.edu or visit coastal.edu/childdevelopmentcenter for more information.
