Bachelor of Arts

If you wish to study more than one area of theater, this program is for you. The theatre program allows you to develop a course of study that is particular to your interests and pursuits while offering flexibility. Choose classes from a variety of areas including performance, design, and theater criticism and history to provide a foundation for your customized course of study.

In the B.A. in Theatre program, you are encouraged to take an active role in designing your own degree plan and taking extensive coursework in other areas.

If you are interested in a broad range of theater areas or a career in performing, designing, stage managing, directing or any other production possibilities, B.A. in Theatre is a good choice.

What You Will Study

In keeping with a liberal arts education, the B.A. in Theatre encourages students to learn from a wide variety of theatre-related courses from across the humanities.  The degree opens up possibilities for entering into community outreach, teaching and contribution to production beyond performance.
