Academic Probation and Advisory: Wall College

The Director of Student Success in the Wall Center is available to assist students who are in jeopardy of receiving grades that may drop their cumulative GPA below the required 2.0 or who are currently on academic probation. Students whose cumulative GPA drops below the required 2.0 may be placed on academic probation at the end of the semester. Our goal is to help students identify any issues that have led to this situation. Together we can take proactive steps to improve your academic standing and avoid any future academic issues.

If students are placed on probationary status at the end of the semester, they must earn a 2.0 or higher semester GPA to avoid suspension. Students who fail to meet this requirement risk being placed on academic suspension, which may require separation from the university.

Please see the University policy on academic probation and suspension as well as the additional Wall College of Business policy

The Wall Center offers academic support services, tutoring in most business foundation courses, and professional development activities. We may also be able to guide you to other campus resources such as academic Coaching and other available tutors

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Brianne Parker, Director of Student Success and Transition at bparker2@coastal.edu or visit Wall 228A in the Wall Center.
