Biography
Daniel J. Ennis, Ph.D., was named executive vice president for academic affairs and provost in 2021 after serving as provost and vice president for academic affairs since 2019. Ennis served as dean of the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts at Coastal Carolina University from 2012-2019. He also served as vice president for academic outreach from 2014 to 2019. He is a former co-director of the Honors Program, and served as associate dean of the Edwards College and as the chair of the Department of English. He joined the Coastal Carolina University faculty as a professor of English in 1999.
