Biography
Prashant Sansgiry, Ph.D., has served as associate dean of the College of Science since August 2012. He has been a Coastal faculty member since August 1990 and is a professor in the Subhash Saxena Department of Mathematics and Statistics. He also served as chair of the Mathematics and Statistics department for nine years before becoming associate dean.
For the last six years, he served as AP Calculus Reader for College Board. He has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur, India, and a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Wyoming.
During his free time, you can find him playing tennis at the River Front Tennis Center in Conway.
