Grad Deadlines

Thursday, Dec. 14 was the last day to apply for Spring 2024 graduation with no late fee. Students can still submit their graduation application but will be subject to a late fee. Applications should be submitted online through Self Service. Click here, for instructions on how to apply.

After submitting your graduation application, you will be added to the commencement mailing list and will begin getting commencement-related emails as your commencement date approaches. Students will receive an email acknowledgment to their CCU email address within 5 minutes of applying for graduation with all active academic advisers copied on the email.

Next, the application will move through departmental and college-level reviews and end up with the Registrar's Office. The Registrar’s Office will email the student confirming that their application is now with the Registrar’s office. The application will then remain at that status until after final grades have been received for the semester.

Students planning on completing their coursework by the end of the Summer II term should fill out and submit their summer graduation application by Friday, Feb. 9, to have their degree conferred in the summer.

CCU no longer holds a summer commencement ceremony, so to accommodate summer students and allow them to participate in a ceremony

If the hours completed over the summer are 15 hours or less, then the student will be allowed to walk in the spring ceremony.

If a student completes more than 15 hours over the summer, then the student will walk in the fall ceremony.
