Conway Medical Center has expanded to reach more people and provide state-of-the-art, convenient healthcare services to the Socastee community with the recent opening CMC Health Plaza South. This 36,000 square foot building brings the high-quality medical care CMC is known for to the Socastee community. With a projected growth of 20 percent in the next five years, Socastee and the surrounding community will benefit from the additional healthcare resources this facility brings.
The three-story facility houses Primary Care and Pediatric services. CMC is also in the process of obtaining approval to have an ambulatory surgery center in Health Plaza South in the future. For patients who need surgery, this will provide a cheaper, more convenient option than a typical hospital setting. The third floor of CMC Health Plaza South is reserved for future expansion and added services.
