Voice over IP Handset imageThe telecommunication migration and upgrade to VoIP has been completed for approximately 1,200 campus telephones in more than 40 campus buildings. Phase I of the migration began with the renovated Smith Science Center in January, while the majority of installations were completed in Phase II in Summer 2018. Kimbel Library and Williams-Brice had the new handsets installed in March. Phase III of the VoIP telephone migration and upgrade includes the installation of new handsets in the remainder of campus buildings in June 2019.
