Dr. Subhash Saxena High School Math Contest

The 43rd Annual High School Math Contest will take place on March 1, 2024, in Johnson Auditorium on CCU's main campus.

The Dr. Subhash Saxena High School Math Contest is designed to promote interest in mathematics among high school students. The annual event held at Coastal Carolina University draws students to campus from throughout South Carolina to compete for awards, prizes, and scholarships.

In addition to the two levels of competition, a professor from the College of Science will give a presentation on their research interests. There will also be an afternoon activity prior to the presentation of awards. 

Did you know?

The contest is named in honor of Subhash Saxena, distinguished professor emeritus, who taught mathematics at Coastal Carolina University from 1973 until his retirement in 2001. Learn more »
