Beginning every fall semester, new deans, administrators and faculty members are welcomed with receptions to introduce them to their colleagues. As the year progresses, contributors to the University are recognized, ground is broken for new buildings, and dedication ceremonies are conducted to celebrate grand openings. Receptions are held to honor special guests who visit the campus, and to commemorate special occasions. Commencement ceremonies are held to wish our newest alumni the best of luck in their future endeavors.
The Office of Special Events organizes and manages events for the Office of the President, while also providing support and guidance for additional events affiliated with Coastal Carolina University to reflect positively on the University and support the University’s vision. To attain this objective, the Office of Special Events provides the tools and resources below to assist in the planning of University events.
