Early Field Experiences
Early field experiences are an essential part of teacher preparation at Coastal Carolina University. During each field experience, the teacher candidate works with a collaborative team to mold, guide, and refine their skills. This collaborative team consists of the teacher candidate, professionals in our partnering school districts and CCU faculty. This team has the unified goal of preparing and providing opportunities for practice for the teacher education candidate. This practice and preparation ultimately will improve student outcomes in our PK-12 partnering classrooms. Constant, open communication between all members of this collaborative team is a crucial element in the success of early field experiences.
