AlcoholEdu for College and Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates Programs
As part of Coastal Carolina University's comprehensive approach to education and prevention, all new undergraduate students (freshmen and transfer students) are required to complete and pass AlcoholEdu for College / Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates, an online, non-opinionated, science-based alcohol abuse and sexual violence prevention course. The University expects each member of our entering undergraduate class to complete this course. Whether you drink or not, AlcoholEdu for College will empower you to make well-informed decisions and help you better cope with the behavior of your peers. Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates will help you better understand the important concept of consent and how to prevent sexual violence.

PART 1 (Both Programs) - OPENED JULY 8, 2019
PART 1 (Both Programs) - DUE AUG. 16, 2019
Part 1 of both programs take approximately 2-3 hours to complete. You must earn a grade of 75% or higher to pass. The deadline to complete Part 1 of both programs is AUG. 16, 2019.
Chant Life Requirements AUG. 19 and 20, 2019 (In Person)
PART 2 (Both Programs) - OPENS SEPT. 30, 2019
PART 2 (Both Programs) - DUE OCT. 12, 2019
For students that complete Part 1 by the 8/16/2019 deadline, Part 2 will open on 9/30/2019. Students that do not complete Part 1 of both programs by the deadline, 45 days after you complete Part 1 of each program, you will receive an email to complete Part 2. Part 2 takes approximately 15-20 minutes to complete for each program.
The deadline to complete Part 2 for both programs is OCT. 12, 2019.

FOR STUDENTS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE ALCOHOLEDU FOR SANCTIONS: Students required to complete AlcoholEdu for Sanctions through the student conduct process will need to add the AlcoholEdu for Sanctions course after logging in. Please use the "Add a Course" button in the top right after signing into the programs. Additionally, you are expected to adhere to the due dates provided in your action plan letter.
