Faculty Research Opportunities

Externally-funded Research Opportunities

    • CCU has subscribed to GrantForward Funding Search and Grant Recommendation Service, with access for all CCU faculty, staff and students using the single-sign-on link above (you can also log on at GrantForward.com)
    • GrantForward is a search engine dedicated to helping institutions and individuals find grants to fund their research.
    • Individuals can employ advanced search filters and can configure researcher profiles to receive personalized grant recommendations on a monthly or weekly basis.  Visit the GrantForward support page for tutorials and suggestions.
    • Important Note:  Even if you find your own funding source, all grant applications from CCU faculty, staff, or students must be submitted well in advance of the application deadline through the CCU Office of Sponsored Programs and Research Services.  See Details below.

Visit the OSPRS site for assistance with identifying external grant funding opportunities and with writing and submitting grant proposals.

Details of the writing and submission process can be found on the OSPRS Pre-Award pages.  All grant applications from CCU faculty, staff, or students must be submitted through OSPRS.  Complete proposal and budget drafts are due to OSPRS 5 business days before the application deadline, and initial notification of  intent to submit a proposal should ideally occur at least 4 weeks prior to the deadline.

Check out our Funding Opportunities page to find grants in your field using searchable databases and other resources (including GrantForward mentioned above).

CCU faculty applications coordinated through the CCU Center for Global Engagement:  Over 800 grants in more than 125 countries are available to conduct research, teach, or provide specialist consultative services to institutions abroad.
