The CCU Department of Theatre presents Men on Boats, a true(ish) history of an 1869 expedition navigating the Colorado River. This comedic play follows a one-armed captain and crew of insane yet loyal volunteers. Cast with diversity and gender fluidity in mind, Men on Boats upends the expectations of Western America during this time period. Monica Bell, associate professor and coordinator of recruitment in the Department of Theatre, directs the production.
