Local Service Opportunities and Resources

Civic Engagement has relationships with many community partners. There are several ways to access information about opportunities to serve with our community partners.

  1. Look through our Community Partner Database below.
  2. Get Connected on Coastal Connections. If you have not yet set up a profile, the login information is the same as your Coastal Carolina University username and password. We post opportunities on the Civic Engagement page frequently.
  3. Email lce@g.coastal.edu and ask to receive our weekly list serv of local opportunities.
  4. Come by our Civic Engagement office in the Lib Jackson Student Union B-216.
  5. Fill out our Civic Engagement Request Form, and we will follow-up with you!

How do I get started in working with a community partner?

Are you interested in working with a community partner, but don't know where to start?  Are you wanting to coordinate a group of friends or your student organization to do service with a community partner together?  We have created a Student Guide.v2 to get you started. If you have further questions, feel free to come by the Civic Engagement office. We are happy to assist!
