Krippel named chair of Department of Accounting

Gregory Krippel, Ph.D., professor of accounting in the E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration, has accepted the position as chair of the Department of Accounting.

Krippel previously served as interim chair and was a faculty member in the college. He came to CCU from Auburn University in 1994. Since then, he has served on several University committees, such as faculty search committees, promotion and tenure committee, strategic planning committee, faculty advisory board and the Wall Fellows faculty advisory committee. He is also a past recipient of the Professor of the Year Award from both Beta Alpha Psi and Beta Gamma Sigma, and the holder of the James P. and Elizabeth R. Blanton Professorship.
