Responses to FAQs
Yes. By going through our traditional Orientation registration system, now called New C.H.A.N.T. Experience Registration, you will gain access to our revamped, mandatory New C.H.A.N.T. Experience. One of the phases of this program is an in-person Orientation from Aug. 13-18, 2020. Register on WebAdvisor.
No. Students must only complete one registration, which includes all five phases of the New C.H.A.N.T. Experience. Once registered, students will receive a confirmation email with a link to access phase one of the experience.
If I already signed up for Orientation, do I need to do anything to secure my spot in the New C.H.A.N.T. Experience?
No. Your registration and fees will carry over to the enhanced New C.H.A.N.T. Experience. You may go ahead and complete phase one of the experience here.
Yes. The fee for the New C.H.A.N.T. Experience is the same as what your Orientation fee would have been: $155 for incoming freshmen and transfers with fewer than 18 earned credit hours post-high school graduation, and $90 for transfer studets with more than 18 earned credit hours post-high school graduation. This fee covers all the phases of the experience.
The fee covers the cost of programming, materials, staffing, and food across both the virtual and in-person experience.
The New C.H.A.N.T. Experience is required for all incoming students, and all fees are non-refundable. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if your enrollment plans have changed.
It doesn’t. All CINO TIE programming will take place as scheduled, and your in-person experience from Aug. 13-18 will include those activities. The CINO TIE schedule will be posted here by early June.
