Before Your First Semester Begins

At orientation, you will attend a session with the academic advisers for the Wall Center for Excellence and receive your first-semester course schedule, along with lots of helpful information to help you get started. Here are some additional tips before you arrive for the start of the classes:

  • Know your student ID number
  • Make sure that all college transcripts, AP and IB test scores have been sent directly to CCU
  • Know how to use WebAdvisor and Moodle
  • Check your student email regularly for adviser notices
  • Check your schedule on WebAdvisor before the start of classes (there are sometimes last-minute changes)
  • Know your adviser’s name, email and office location
  • Communicate with all University offices such as Advisers, Financial Aid, Housing, Admissions, Orientation and Student Accounts in a timely fashion.
