Before Your First Semester Begins
At orientation, you will attend a session with the academic advisers for the Wall Center for Excellence and receive your first-semester course schedule, along with lots of helpful information to help you get started. Here are some additional tips before you arrive for the start of the classes:
- Know your student ID number
- Make sure that all college transcripts, AP and IB test scores have been sent directly to CCU
- Know how to use WebAdvisor and Moodle
- Check your student email regularly for adviser notices
- Check your schedule on WebAdvisor before the start of classes (there are sometimes last-minute changes)
- Know your adviser’s name, email and office location
- Communicate with all University offices such as Advisers, Financial Aid, Housing, Admissions, Orientation and Student Accounts in a timely fashion.
