In Case of Inclement Weather

Fall Express Check-in is a drive-through process where our staff are working outside, so we are dependent on the weather to run smoothly. In case of inclement weather, we may have to temporarily pause the check-in process at the GG parking lot until we receive the "All Clear" from Emergency Management and Public Safety. This situation would most likely occur if we have lightning in the area which is close enough to be deemed unsafe for our staff to be outside (and you too if you are unloading your vehicle).

If we do have to pause the check-in process at the GG parking lot due to inclement weather, we will ask anyone who has not arrived for their appointment to go to the Horry-Georgetown Technical College waiting lot located next to Building 1100 at the corner of Technology Boulevard and Victory Lane. Public Safety will issue an alert through CCU Alert asking families to go to the waiting lot until it is safe to resume at the GG parking lot. You should stay in that waiting lot until you receive a follow-up alert from CCU Alert when it is all clear.
