Wireless Access

All active students, faculty and staff should begin to access the eduroam signal for computers, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices (this new service began on Dec. 18, 2020).

eduroam replaced the previous wireless network, called CCUnwired. The CCUnwired wireless network is retired as of 5 p.m. on Feb. 15, 2021. Access to CCUResNet in University Housing locations will not change.

The issue previously reported with Android devices and the ability to connect to eduroam is resolved.  Please access the eduroam page to learn how to connect to eduroam here: Learn more »

If you reside or will reside in University Housing, there are no changes to CCUResNet wireless access.  Your device will continue to be able to "see" CCUResNet.

SafeConnect is required for authentication. Learn more »

Wireless Access for Campus Visitors

The CCUguest wireless network is provided for and should only be used by University-sponsored visitors. CCUguest has limited bandwidth and internet access; therefore, CCU students, faculty and staff should use the restricted access Wi-Fi network. CCUguest should not be used in place of the restricted access Wi-Fi networks. For additional information, please contact the ITS Service Center at 843-349-5000.
