Your Drive-through Check-in Pass was emailed to your CCU email. We recommend students print it or take a screenshot of it with their phone. It is also accessible on the Home page of MyCoastalHome. Below is a sample Check-in Pass.

• Residents with more than one vehicle for unloading:
  • Resident must be in the first vehicle with the second vehicle immediately following.
  • If you get separated during travels, please meet somewhere off campus to get in the right order BEFORE entering the GG parking lot.
  • Do NOT send additional vehicles ahead or directly to your community. All vehicles will need an Unloading Zone Pass to enter community area, and these passes are issued at check-in at the GG lot.
  • If the other vehicle does not have items for unloading, you can direct them to the KK, QQ, or YY parking lot and walk or take the shuttle to meet you in your community to assist you with move-in.
• Residents MUST be present to pick up room key.

 

Residents who participated in Drop and Go will check-in at the GG parking lot.

• Show your Check-in Pass (QR Code).
• Receive a parking map.
• Receive your CINO Card (new students and transfers).
• Receive and sign for your room key.
• Park in a perimeter parking lot (QQ/KK/YY) and take shuttle or walk to your building. University Place, Cove and Gardens residents can go and park at their building.
• Drop and Go residents in Ingle, Eaglin, the Woods, Chanticleer, Tradition, DeCenzo, and Singleton-Young are not permitted to take their vehicle to unload until after 5 p.m.

Residents who have an oversized vehicle (> 6'10") or a vehicle with a trailer will be directed to an alternate section of the GG parking lot for check-in.

• Stay in the right lane when you enter the GG parking lot.
• Show your Check-in Pass (QR Code).
• Receive a community map.
• Receive your CINO Card (new students and transfers).
• Receive and sign for your room key.
• Follow the map to your community to unload.

 

Upon entering the GG parking lot, most vehicles will be directed to Tent 1.

• Show your Check-in Pass (QR Code).
• Staff will verify you are in the right location and at the right time.

After Tent 1, vehicles will be directed to Tent 2.

• Show your Check-in Pass (QR Code).
• Receive your unloading pass.
• Receive a community map.

For residents checking in on Thursday, skip Tent 2 and proceed to Tent 3. 

After Tent 2, vehicles will be directed to Tent 3.

• Show your Check-in Pass (QR Code).
• Receive and sign for your room key.
• Receive your CINO Card (new students and transfers).
• Verify your mobile phone number for the unloading pass.

After Tent 3, it is time to exit the GG parking lot and go to your community to unload.

• Follow signs as indicated on your unloading pass and map to your community.
• Follow directions from Public Safety, staff and volunteers.

Main Campus Residents

On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, August 17-19, after unloading, move your vehicle(s) to one of the perimeter parking lots (QQ/KK/YY). A designated shuttle is running between these parking lots on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. to the pond at the HTC Center. Teal Mobile is available 24/7. Download the TransLoc app to access the most current schedule, track the shuttles, and request Teal Mobile. 

University Place and The Cove at University Place Residents

University Place and Cove residents can park in their community. Please move your vehicle away from your building after unloading, so others have easy access to unload.

After checking in at the GG parking lot, you will follow the map to your community or a perimeter parking lot.

After unloading your items, you may make a shopping run and come back to campus to unload again. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, August 17-19, residents living in Eaglin, Ingle, The Woods, Chanticleer, DeCenzo, Singleton-Young, and Tradition halls will need to park in the KK, QQ, or YY parking lot until 5 p.m. After 5 p.m. on these days, residents can unload close to their building. You will not be permitted to unload at your building between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., Thursday, Friday and Saturday, August 17-19. Residents are not permitted to park near Eaglin, Ingle, The Woods, Chanticleer, DeCenzo, Singleton-Young, and Tradition halls until after 5 p.m. Saturday August 19.

If you are a first-year student...

Assigned to Eaglin, Ingle, Chanticleer, DeCenzo, Singleton-Young, Tradition, The Woods and The Gardens and moving in after 5 p.m., Saturday, August 19, you will check-in at your community desk. Do not come to the GG parking lot after 5 p.m., Saturday, August 19.

• Chanticleer, DeCenzo, Singleton-Young, and Tradition residents go to the Elvington Loop desk located in Tradition Hall.
• Eaglin, Ingle, The Woods and The Gardens residents go to the Township Circle desk located in Ingle Hall.

If you are a returning student or transfer assigned to a main campus space...

Follow the instructions in your email and come to the GG parking lot on Sunday, August 20 to check-in and get your room key. You should not go to the community desk.

The GG Parking Lot will close at 5 p.m., Sunday, August 20 for all check-ins. We will resume check-in at the community desk starting at 6 p.m.

• Chanticleer, DeCenzo, Singleton-Young, and Tradition residents go to the Elvington Loop desk located in Tradition Hall.
• Eaglin, Ingle, The Woods and The Gardens residents go to the Township Circle desk located in Ingle Hall.
• Blue Ridge, Piedmont, Grand Strand, Low Country, Sandhills and The Cove at University Place go to the University Place desk located in Grand Strand 102.

• KK, QQ, and YY parking lots - Thursday through Saturday, August 17-19: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
• Teal Mobile - 24/7 starting on Thursday, August 17 after 6 p.m.
• Bronze Shuttle - daily until classes 7 a.m. - 11 p.m.
