Oversized Vehicles
Residents are required to notify University Housing in advance if bringing an oversized vehicle or a vehicle with a trailer. Drive-through Check-in tents have a 6'10" clearance and cannot accommodate tall or wide vehicles. Similarly, vehicles with a trailer will not be able to safely navigate through the standard check-in line. Here are examples of vehicles that may be considered oversized:
- Vehicles with carriers or items on the roof
- Vehicles with long antennas
- Vehicles pulling a trailer
- Lifted trucks
- Moving trucks
- RVs
Students who plan on bringing oversized vehicles or trailers must indicate that when signing up for a move-in appointment in MyCoastalHome. If plans change, contact us in advance so we can update your appointment and have your keys in the proper check-in line.
